"As you like" is quite a common phrase we heard, which eased us in having an even more relaxed time.
You do spend a lot of time in the car, which we understood when planning, but that part of the trip does get old after several days.

An incredible time, from start to finish! We first got dropped off at their outpost, and were able to change and freshen up before the long camel ride to camp. Once we got on our camels, we had a peaceful, quiet camel ride through the mesmerizing dunes, enjoying sunset just before reaching camp. The camp itself is stunning, glamping at its finest. The food, the company, the music, the entire camp - being there was the absolute highlight of our trip to Morocco. Woke up early for sunrise, then a delicious breakfast before heading back to their outpost in a 4 wheeler. Could not recommend more!!
This is a stunner of a hotel, just outside of Ouarzazate. Every single detail, from the lobby, the decor, the apportionments, were so carefully selected. We wish we had more time to enjoy the property. The food is exquisite, the staff lovely. If passing through, staying here is a must!

During the time in Morocco, Said was always there to answer questions and help. We had a lot to thank Said for his attention and kindness. We made a last-minute decision to change hotels in Marrakech and Casablanca. Said rearranged for us timely without problems. We loved 2ciels hotel Marrakech that Said picked for us very much. 2 thumbs up for Said.
Now, we can't miss our personal driver and guide, "Ayoub". You are a rock! Ayoub is kind, humble, easygoing, and he is a safe driver. Our lives were basically dependent on him for 12 days, and he got us through and around the country safe and sound. In Fes, we bought a pair of sandals. After 2 days of wearing, the sole peeled off. When we arrived at the next town, Ayoub offered to take them for a repair. And voila, the next morning, we got shoes back with new soles, of much better quality. On top of that, he wouldn’t accept the repair charge from us. Thanks a bunch, Ayoub!
Finally, Ayoub does what he loves. He is passionate about showing his country, people, and culture to us. He is happy to share and we are excited to learn, thus, the experience is so fulfilling and fun. We had an amazing trip in Morocco!

It terms of experience and sites, it was awesome. The Moroccan people are wonderful and kind. We learned so much about the culture and saw the most magnificent sites including the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara Desert, the red rocks, beautiful cities and so on. Look, Morocco needs to be on everyone's list and KimKim was fantastic to book with. We were not alone either. We ran into other travelers who used KimKim and they said the same thing.

The location was safe and interesting.
The hotel was old riad in the medina. Staying in a riad is not easy. The food was so-so, the noise outside the rooms was intrusive. The medina's are hard to get around in. We recommend staying in the modern section of Fes.

The trip went off without any significant hitches. Our driver, Ilyace, was great. From the pick-up at the airport through our last day in Marrakesh, he made sure that we were always taken care of. We appreciated his knowledge of Morocco and his clear love for his country. His English was excellent. We were so grateful to have a driver - the traffic in the cities was crazy. We would not have enjoyed the trip nearly as much if we had been trying to navigate everywhere that Ilyace took us.
Our accommodations were lovely overall and when food was included, it did not disappoint. Kashbah Titrit near Ait Ben Haddou was a lovely facility with gorgeous rooms, a beautiful terrace, and an amazing (and affordable) dinner menu. However, the jacuzzi needs to be shut down. It was moldy and made the entire pool and common area smell bad. We just didn't use the jacuzzi, so it wasn't a problem for us. Hotel Xaluca Dades had an expensive and very underwhelming buffet dinner that we would not recommend. Hotel Movenpick Casablanca also had an expensive buffet dinner on the 16th floor, but it was worth every penny. Dar Jasmine in Chefchoauen was probably our favorite - the setting on the hill was breathtaking. Their dinner was inexpensive and delicious.
Our activities were well planned and most were exactly as advertised. The guided tour in Fes was somewhat disappointing - while we saw the things that were noted, it felt like a good portion of the tour was going into shops where we were often sat down to get a sales pitch. It doesn't help that we had no idea the actual value of many of the items that were being offered so bargaining (which is expected) was difficult. Along the trip, we figured out that shopkeepers are likely often starting at twice the price they are willing to accept. Sandboarding in the dessert was nonexistent. A single sandboard was available at our hotel. It was actually an unwaxed snowboard, so it did not fit well over regular shoes and did not slide down the sand. If waxed, it may have been fun. I get the impression that the hotels just have the boards available and you can grab them, so I would not ask for this to be a special activity.
We skipped our planned Food Tour in Marrakesh because our guide let us know that most of the places she liked to showcase were closed for Ramadan. We appreciated her honesty and the company treated us to dinner on the square instead, which seemed like a very appropriate response.
Unfortunately, it rained on the day we planned to do the hot air balloon ride, so it was cancelled. The company refunded that expense without hesitation.
Overall, we loved the trip and were extremely satisfied with the support from Original Travels through kimkim. I would consider booking another vacation with kimkim in the future. It was definitely more expensive than most of our vacations, but it was also the most pampered and luxurious vacation we've taken.

The actual hotel and rooms were very nice, but nothing special in particular (especially when compared with some of the riads). However, it was clean and convenient. The restaurant on the 16th floor served a really impressive buffet dinner. The selection was excellent and everything was delicious. It was about $40 per person, which was more than we were expecting but there was nothing else open in the area because of Ramadan. Thankfully it was really good. We did not realize that the main floor also had a restaurant that I bet was also good and less expensive.
This was probably our favorite hotel during our trip. The combination of the character and the view over Chefchoauen made it so peaceful and serene. I would love to go back and stay there for a week or 2. The staff was excellent and the food (inexpensive dinner and the included breakfast) was really good.

The restaurant served us one of the best dinners we had, from the beautiful presentation of the meal to the delicious food. It was also very inexpensive.
If they just drained and shut down the jacuzzi, this would be 5 stars.

The hotel had a 'sandboard' for guests to use. It was a snowboard that was not waxed. Because of this, you did not slide down the hill. There was only one board, so if it had been working, we would not all have been able to go.

Ameena was amazing. She took us shopping in the souks for the vegetables for our chicken tagine. Her home was lovely and the instruction was great. The completed meal was delicious and I'm so glad we learned how to make chicken tagine!! It was a privilege to spend time in her home and to meet her family.

This was so much fun!! The Quads were high quality machines and we had a great time racing around the desert. Really a blast. This was pretty cool. We had the bath and scrubbing with the black soap. We then had time to relax followed by a massage. It was a busy place so it felt a bit like we were being moved through (because we were), but it did not feel rushed.

The mosque is beautiful. The tour is a larger group and our particular guide was a bit difficult to hear as the group was large. It felt a bit rushed, but was still very interesting and worth the time.

He was always on time to pick us up and happy to see us. We loved the Atlas Mountains and the Tiziri Luxury Camp in the Sahara which was a true highlight for us. Learning about the Berber people was enlightening. the food was great, the tents much more comfortable than expected, and the music made at night by a campfire by camp staff was moving and rousing. Fez and Marrakesh are a must-see but prepare yourself for a cadre of aggressive salespeople in the streets. I think the city we enjoyed the most was the seaside town of Essaouira. It runs on a much mellower vibe. The merchants are much less aggressive and the prices of goods are much lower than in Fez and Marrakesh. Overall it was a wonderful adventure and we are the better for it.

There were so many wonderful experiences, it is difficult to narrow it down. However, the one impactful experience that will change our lives personally is our exposure to the kindness and love of the Moroccan people. We personally experienced their daily commitment to family, faith, happiness and kindness. Our guide Karim Chemmi was a perfect daily example as he did everything possible to make sure we were happy, exposed to the culture, entertained and even introduced to his wonderful family for tea in their home. His English was excellent, but his personal heart and commitment to excellence was beyond the norm. We are so lucky to have had him with us for 12 days as we traveled across this amazing country. Our experiences with the people were equally amazing in all the hotels, restaurants, guides, etc. Our favorite places were the Blue City, the desert camp in Mezouga, but Skoura stands out the most on all fronts. There is nothing we would change really. The itinerary allowed us to experience all that Morocco has to offer. It was amazing!!

Our Morocco trip was truly one of the most amazing trips we have taken! Both Abdellah and Said were very in tune with what we wanted out of this trip and made sure everything by was in order! . Very professional! The hotels were top notch, each with their own charm and elegance! We started in Marrakesh for 2 days, stayed in Riyad Elegencia! Absolutely gorgeous! Then we went to the Atlas Mountains and spent a few days there. Experienced the thrill of 2 hr camel rides in the Sahara Desert to the Tiziri camp where we had the most magical experience with Yousef and Mustafa! They were so kind and caring! After an amazing meal nine BerBer gentlemen entertained us around the campfire with traditional BerBer song with drums. We also played the drums and everyone told jokes and sang. It was an absolute blast! On our way back we stayed at the Highly recommended Ait Ben Haddou! Then we went to Essauira and stayed at the charming Riyad Chbanate! We wanted to upgrade our room to the top larger room with a gorgeous view of the water and city. When we called Said he said it was not a problem and took care of it with no problem or additional cost!
I have to say our driver Karim was the best part of the trip. He was so kind, caring, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He drove us for 6 days as we galavanted in Morocco! He always had a big warm smile and his English was exceptionally good. He speaks 6 languages! He shared so much knowledge of all the places we visited and most amazing his own traditions of being from the Berber tribe. Karim gave us great recommendations on where to shop! He stopped at all the beautiful sites so we could take pictures and enjoy the views! I highly recommend Karim as a guide for anyone planning a trip to Morocco! We will definitely ask for him again when we return! By the end of the trip I feel like Karim became a part of our family and we plan on keeping in touch with him! The whole experience was magical thanks to him!
On the last 2 days of our trip we had a driver named Faisal who drove us from Marrakesh to Essaouira.
We made a few stops where he felt were picture worthy locations! So happy he took the time to do that! He was very kind and courteous! He showed us some very special Moroccan hospitality at dinner which we were very grateful and honored!
Great guy! Highly recommend Faisal!

I did some of the research, and Abdel and Said took care of the rest. Everything Kim Kim had planned was great. Working with Abdel was simple, and the website facilitates communication for everyone.
We chose to stay in riads instead of hotels. Each one was unique, but they all provided excellent service, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. The only thing that could be improved are the tour guides. We felt some pushed us to go to specific stores to shop, and one ended with a demand for a tip (which we had planned to give).
Tarik, our driver, was awesome! He was friendly and caring, and he looked after our group well. We made some changes along the way, and he was accommodating. I will most certainly use Original Travels and Kim Kim again!!

He was always on time to pick us up each morning and always bought us each a fresh bottle of water for our next journey. Morocco is a beautiful country! Kim Kim made our journey extra special providing recommendations and local guides at various stops. Highlights were wandering through a maze of brightly colored markets in each city, visiting Chefchaouen, the Blue City and camping on the Sahara Desert, arriving on camels.
